Therapists notes from Marilyn’s last birthday:
Saw Marilyn T for approximately 20 minutes this p.m.
- very anxious and very paranoid that she was going to be killed.
Is taking meds but says that she is having a bad day and it started getting bad this past weekend;
Said “something happened” to cause her bad feelings but couldn’t/wouldn’t say more.
Wanted almost constant physical contact, hugs, hand holding, etc.
She remembered that today was her birthday and saw that I brought her a present (a plant).
Asked me to her birthday party this p.m. but I could not.
Looks bad – again.
Call me if it would help to talk. I plan to call later in the week and see if Marilyn is in better shape to talk.
~ Sharyn

Marilyn became ultra-paranoid every time a certain big sister took her out on pass and loaded her up on drugs that her fragile mind could not handle. She was placed in isolation at Shoal Creek almost every time that she returned from a visit with our big sister.
On the night that she put a gun in her mouth, our grandmother said that Marilyn had been begging her big sister to take her to get some cigarettes. Our grandmother said that our big sister kept snapping at her and refusing until Marilyn walked into the next room and picked up the gun and shot herself. This fact was never shared with big sister before, due to her violent reactions to just about everything.
